ABOUT THE LR PAPER AIRPLANE CHAMPIONSHIP The Little Rock Paper Airplane Championship is Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Clinton School of Public Service. Day-of registration opens at 10 a.m.

John Collins, aka The Paper Airplane Guy, holds the paper airplane world record for distance. John is bringing his knowledge and expertise to the event this year. We're excited to have John join us this year!

We're planning some fun new activities, but, of course, the highlight is the competition! Trophies are given in FIVE age categories for two competitions- distance and hang-time. 

Whether you create paper airplanes for fun, or have more professional expertise to creating the perfect paper aircraft, this family-friendly event will have something for everyone. Create your airplane then test it against others to find out who IS the ultimate paper airplane champion!

This event is the annual fundraiser for the Lymphomaniac Society, a Little Rock-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides weekend trips to cancer survivors and their caregiver. You can learn more about the Lymphomaniac Society here.

ABOUT JOHN COLLINS John's been invited to fly planes on four continents, and for some of the biggest companies in the world. As the world record holder for paper airplane distance, it's fun to introduce new people to paper airplane making and flying. He knows some day, someone he teaches will smash his record. How will they do it? No one knows. He only knows they will. Paper airplanes are something he can get people excited about. It leads to a structured way of thinking.
